WHO HYBRID REHAB SUITS

YOU DON’T NEED EVERY SESSION SUPERVISED TO NEED SPECIALIST ACL INPUT.

Hybrid rehabilitation is designed for patients who are able to train independently but want specialist structure, progression and reassessment.

GYM ACCESS

You have access to suitable training equipment.

INDEPENDENT TRAINING

You are comfortable completing exercises without constant supervision.

EXISTING NHS / PRIVATE CARE

You want additional specialist ACL input alongside current rehabilitation.

LIVING FURTHER AWAY

You cannot realistically attend frequent in-person sessions.

LATE-STAGE PROGRESSION

You need specialist guidance into running, jumping, strength and sport preparation.

OBJECTIVE REASSESSMENT

You want testing at key stages to check progress and guide the next block.

ASSESS. PLAN. TRAIN. REVIEW. RETEST.

01

ASSESS

Understand your surgery, stage, goals, symptoms and current physical capacity.

02

PLAN

Build a personalised rehabilitation block around your needs and equipment access.

03

TRAIN

Complete your programme independently between reviews.

04

REVIEW

Return for specialist assessment, progression and exercise updates.

05

RETEST

Use objective strength or performance testing where appropriate to guide the next phase.

The frequency of review depends on your stage, progress and level of independence.

MORE THAN AN EXERCISE LIST.

The value of hybrid rehabilitation is not simply having a programme. It is having a structured progression system with expert review at the right time.

PERSONALISED REHAB PROGRAMME

Built around your current stage, goals and training environment.

STRENGTH PROGRESSION

Clear progression of quadriceps, hamstrings and lower-limb capacity.

RUNNING / PLYOMETRIC PROGRESSION

Added when appropriate according to stage and criteria.

SCHEDULED SPECIALIST REVIEW

Reassess progress and adjust the next rehabilitation block.

OBJECTIVE TESTING

Strength and performance testing at key stages where appropriate.

NEXT-STAGE PRIORITIES

Clear guidance on what needs to improve before progressing.

WHICH MODEL IS RIGHT FOR YOU?

ONE-TO-ONE ACL REHAB

Best for people who need closer supervision, regular technical coaching, are early in rehabilitation, are less confident training independently, or benefit from more frequent progression.

HYBRID ACL REHAB

Best for people who can train independently, want specialist structure, need periodic progression rather than weekly supervision, and want objective reassessment at key stages.

Not sure which is right? Start with an ACL assessment and we’ll recommend the most appropriate route.

TEST. REVIEW. PROGRESS.

HYBRID REHAB SHOULD STILL BE MEASURABLE.

At appropriate stages, objective testing can help show whether strength and performance are progressing and what should be prioritised next.

Quadriceps strength · Hamstring strength · Relative strength · Limb symmetry · Jump performance · Reactive strength · Sprint / change-of-direction qualities where appropriate

ALREADY HAVING NHS OR PRIVATE REHAB?

You do not necessarily need to replace your existing rehabilitation. Hybrid ACL Rehab can provide additional specialist programming, late-stage progression and objective testing at key stages.

This can be particularly useful when basic rehabilitation is progressing well but you need more structure around strength, running, jumping and return to sport.

USEFUL ACROSS DIFFERENT STAGES OF ACL RECOVERY.

MID-STAGE STRENGTH

Building meaningful lower-limb strength and capacity.

RETURN TO RUNNING

Progressing from gym rehabilitation into running exposure.

LATE-STAGE REHAB

Developing jumping, power, speed and change of direction.

RETURN TO SPORT

Preparing for the specific physical demands of sport.

SPECIALIST ACL SUPPORT WITH FEWER IN-PERSON VISITS.
